Mr. Dennis L. Keschl, Town Manager for Belgrade, ME announced the settlement of a joint enforcement action by the Town of Belgrade and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection against Mr. John P. Jabar, Jr. for major violations of the town’s Shoreland Zoning Ordinance.  These violations included significant amount of tree cutting, destruction of or burying of native understory vegetation, and alteration of topography within the 100 foot setback requirements of the Town of Belgrade Shoreland Zoning Ordinance.
