January and February are the months we snowshoe, cross-country ski and entertain the snowmobilers in Belgrade. Due to the lack of snow, we are hiking and walking the trails ..... so look for the full moon walks supported by the BRCA.

Also in January, the Maine Lakes Resource Center is hosting a Milfoil Workshop Day for the Belgrade Regional Business Group adn other members of the community. State and local conservationists are sharing the science and importance of milfoil to the economy of the lakes. email sign-up:

New visual artists will be featured in late January.

On the third Thursday of every month until late spring, traditional musicians will be jammin' at 6 PM.

You can look forward to the Belgrade Farmer's Market beginning in June with early crops and demonstrations on Sundays 8AM - 1PM and Thursdays 4PM to 6PM (get fresh food on your ride home from work!).

Some of the local farms are now selling eggs at Day's store, where you will also find fall and winter vegetables from Maine farms.  Diane and Kerry are also selling eco-friendly soaps and cleaning products.

In the retail area of our building you can find Maine Lakes Resource Center T shirts, lovely lakes photo books from Maine COLA, and bags of "Milsoil" compost materials from the Belgrade Lakes Regional Conservation Alliance......... for everyone on your birthday list!
